Taryn meets Santa

Santa made a special visit at work yesterday! Taryn got to meet him and study him a bit.

Day at the Park

Jessica had to work on "Black Friday," so we took all the girls to the park. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time.

Just look at those smiling faces! (I think Adelaide practices movie star poses in the mirror)

p.s. on Friday, a third tooth (this time on the top) popped out. :)

Big Day

I took the week of from work to play with Taryn. We had a fantastic day. Shopping at Whole Foods, lunch with friends and plenty of moving around on the floor.

Three new, great things today:
1. Taryn scoots backwards. Below, she's in mid-scoot, almost under the side of the couch. There's no leaving this little girl alone anymore.

2. She drank from a sippy cup (usually she just "chews" on it)! We've been trying for weeks, but today I mixed apple juice with the water. It was great incentive to get that nectar out of the cup. :)
3. She told me she was hungry! We were rolling around on the floor, she rolled over, looked right at me, and made the sign language for "eat". It was an hour before she was due for her bottle, but I hopped up, mixed up a snack, and she drank the whole thing.

This baby is so brilliant!

Fuzzy Purple Bear

In case it gets really cold ... Creepaw got Taryn a fuzzy purple bear suit. It's a tad big, and will be great for next year ... hopefully to play in the snow at Montana!

Chilly Florida Day

Friday was cold and we had to bundle up! The high was just 70 degrees!

Taryn loves her beautiful green sweater. Nana's friend Joan made it for her. :)

Trip to Pensacola

We all piled in Creepaw's big truck this past weekend and drove up to Pensacola to see Great-granpa and Great-grandma Bridges.

It was a long drive there and back, but it was fun. :)

Halloween

Sorry it took a bit to get these pics up, some slight technical difficulties.

The Wicked Witch of the West (Taryn), Glenda the Good Witch (Isabelle), and Dorothy (Adelaide) all had a great time!

So did the Dark Fairy (Jessica/Mama/Aunt Bananas).

Such a beautiful little witch.

Ok, so it wouldn't be a holiday without a present. She loves this little farm "the animals go round and round, vegetables go up and down ... " sing along! :)

Pumpkin "Patch"

The church down the road from my mom had the cutest pumpkin patch. We took the girls there last weekend.

Coloring with sidewalk chalk!

Fingerpainting in the bathtub (note: Jen, the nanny, takes these pics during the day, and leaves us to "find" them on the camera once she's left. ;) I'm amazed at how she leaves no trace of mess!)

Creepaw bought a backpack for the baby (comes with it's own teddy bear). Taryn likes to suck on the shoulder strap though. We'll probably try out a short hike with it this weekend. :)

Time for her own space!

As she quickly approaches "toddler-hood," I felt Taryn needed more room on cyberspace, rather than just using some of her dad's. :)

Today she is 7 months old! At last month's doctor's appt, she was 18 lbs, and in the 90th percentile for her age. She loves to eat (she gets that from her mama). Some of her favorites include squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, and peaches. She is not a fan of avacado or plums.

Earlier today we went and had her picture taken again with her cousins. So cute!
